Acting as a USO center on wheels, USO Mobile National Capital District and Mini-Mobile USO offer service members in National Capital Region the same great support that is found in USO airport or installation locations.

Our state-of-the-art mobile vehicles travel to events and military exercises to provide places for service members to relax during downtime, provide USO services to areas without brick-and-mortar USO centers and support communities in times of crisis.

Funded through a generous donation by the Boeing Company, our Mobile USO, aka “Big Blue” is designed to significantly expand the capacity of services and assistance provided to the military and their families in our region.

The centerpiece of the program is a 34’ custom “Trailer” completely outfitted with 7 HDTV, 3 XBOX one, DIRECTV, Wi-Fi, Stage, Cell phone charging stations and Audio.

USO-Metro’s mini Mobile, a.k.a. “Little Blue” provides an awning, coffee stations, portable audio, charging station, mini lounge, portable HDTV and a portable XBOX.

Events and activities include Homecomings, Deployments, Training Exercises, Military Community Events, Command Air Shows, just to name a few.
