About this Location

With roughly 15% of the military transitioning each year and 33% of the military relocating each year, USO-Metro recognizes the need to effectively increase the post-military career employment prospects for service members and support military spouses, who are constantly in transition due to their service member’s frequent change of duty stations. The USO-Metro Transition Program focuses these efforts in the following concentrations:

  • Employment Readiness
  • Employment Services
  • Family Transition
  • Project Next S.T.E.P.
  • Stronger Spouses
  • Transition Skills Training

Based out of the USO Warrior and Family Center at Fort Belvoir, the USO-Metro Transition Program offers a variety of workshops, seminars, transition education programs, coffee connections, military spouse networking events, and more.
