About this Location

The Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall USO Honor Guard Lounge is specifically dedicated to the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines who serve on the honor guard—charged with laying to rest our fallen warriors at Arlington National Cemetery.

Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) is directly adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. and serves military operations at Fort Myer, Crystal City, The Pentagon, Fort McNair, The District of Columbia and Henderson Hall (Marine Corps HQ). JBM-HH is home to Military’s oldest unit, 3rd US Infantry Regiment, The Old Guard, known as the “Escort to the President”, and has the proud honor and responsibility to guard the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier”.

"Volunteers are integral to USO-Metro, the organization can't serve it's purpose without them. As a retiree, volunteering at Reagan twice a month initially seemed minimal, but it didn't take long to realize how important that time is to each lounge and center. I'd encourage my fellow retirees to give back. Taking that time each month feels good. The past seven years have been more enjoyable than you'd imagine - assisting, reconnecting, and providing that public service. It 's absolutely what you make of it."
